Victoria's Inn at Laurel Point is once again hosting Canada's National Gingerbread Showcase, benefiting Habitat for Humanity Victoria Saturday November 19 - Monday January 2, 2017 9am - 9pm.
The event brings together professional and amateur bakers from across Canada and highlights their creativity, while supporting the work of Habitat for Humanity Victoria.

The best part about beer is that it can be enjoyed at any time of the year, and it should be celebrated in the same manner. At the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, we recognized a void in the
beer celebration calendar that needed to be rectified. This event will allow the multitude of fantastic local micro-breweries to gather together to display their seasonal products as well as their brewery
favorites to both beer lovers and food and beverage professionals ahead of the holiday season.

Get into the holiday spirit and discover how Christmas was observed in early Victoria on this 90-minute leisurely historical walking tour through Old Town. Start inside a heritage building for a short
history of Christmas traditions, then head out through the festive streets to hear true stories about the season, including reminiscences of Emily Carr as a little girl.

Help Support the Local Food Bank by heading out to the streets on Dec 3rd, and watching a convoy of festive trucks roll by. Bring the entire family to enjoy the holiday tradition, as it rolls through
your neighbourhood!

On December 3rd be a part of the Light Up and Christmas Market at Ogden Point. This family event includes Santa’s workshop, a local Christmas market, food trucks, kids’ crafts and holiday
music. Warm-up to some hot chocolate and watch Ogden Point and the Truck Convoy as they light up with thousands of Christmas lights. Bring your non-perishable food items and cash donations to
support of the Mustard Seed and local food banks.

Experience the true spirit of Christmas at the annual Pancakes with Mr. & Mrs. Claus Fundraiser in Vista 18 Westcoast Grill & Wine Bar. For a small donation, guests enjoy a delicious pancake
breakfast and a visit with Santa. 100% of the proceeds go to the Times Colonist Christmas Fund to assist local families in need. Reserve your seat today!

The 36th Annual Dickens Fair is a festive, seasonal market and craft event hosted by the James Bay Market Society. We host handmade and homemade items to provide an appealing
array of over 70 quality vendors with gift choices at affordable prices for the public. A children’s craft space, music, a café and artisanal food products complement this traditional event. We also
have an ATM on site for our customer’s convenience.

Gather on the upper courtyard of the Royal BC Museum with your fellow singers, family and friends. Guest carillonneur, Jon Lehrer will accompany the Newcombe Choir below in a one of a
kind carolling party. Hot chocolate and cookies help to make the season bright.

The first annual Sooke Winter Night Market will be held Friday December 9th from 5 - 9pm and Saturday December 10th from 4 - 9pm. Food, Klezmer Music, Vendors, Beverages and more.

CBC Radio & Our Place present ‘A Christmas Carol’

Winter is in the wings and we have stories capturing the anticipation of the season, the turning of the world from dark to light, of gifts and ghosts – told by the hearth at Helmcken House. This
event is part of the Stories at Helmcken House series, where experienced tellers delight audiences of all ages with folktales, myths, legends and personal stories from around the world.

Come celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Festival of Trees in support of BC Children's Hospital Foundation. This year the Festival has "branched" out across the city!
The Festival of Trees is decking the halls of The Bay Centre with 65 trees on display and returning to their "roots" at The Fairmont Empress with 20 trees on display. The Festival brings together sponsors,
local businesses, organizations, and individuals to decorate trees in a creative and beautiful fashion. These enchanting trees are displayed throughout the Christmas season and the public is
invited to donate to vote for their favourite.

Little Gems Holiday Art and Craft Fair: Call for Submissions The Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria is pleased to host another instalment of Little Gems: Holiday Art and Craft Fair at 636 Fort Street
in The Bay Center. It is a festive event that connects local artists getting in the holiday spirit with their community. Submissions for this are now open and stay open until November 14th. All works of art
under $300 accepted. This includes all mediums (sculpture, art cards, prints, painting, photography, etc). Detailed submission guidelines can be found at This year we have opened the event
to both CACGV members and non-members. This event is a great way to get your art into the hands of customers and aficionados all while promoting and celebrating the holiday spirit! Get involved in this
year's Little Gems! It is shaping up to be quite the display of artistic holiday cheer! The Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria has encouraged and celebrated local arts since 1968. CACGV is a
registered charity.

Santa will be visiting the Market on December 3rd, 10th and 17th from 12-3pm. We'll have Live Music December 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th from 12pm - 2pm. A Gift Wrapping Station will be set up
December 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th from 11am - 3pm. Gift wrapping will be by donation to the SPCA. Come down for a stroll and enjoy the
festive decor, delicious food, and amazing Christmas shopping!

Don’t miss out the Marina Light Up starting November 26. Be delighted by the many colourful boats in the Inner Harbour lit in a vibrant display of Christmas lights. Be sure to include the
Inner Harbour Marinas in your Christmas activities list and experience the Christmas spirit of downtown Victoria.

This Annual Nativity Exhibit is celebrating it's 10th year! Creches are on display from all over the world, some dating back to the 1900s making this event more of a historical Christmas display!

The 2016 Bastion Square Holiday “Pop Up” Market opens on Saturday, November 26th from 3 pm - 8 pm the day of the 35th annual Santa's Light Parade on Government Street.
There is always something exciting to look at and artisans to meet. Many artisans work on site and are available to chat about their art and innovations. Stop by and rediscover this quaint, quality
market that can be found in Bastion Square!
